Almost TWO!

I swear, I just brought him home yesterday!

If you love to read....

....you're probably at least half-way thru the new Harry Potter book. Or, if you're like me and my hubby, already done with it.

What's even more amazing than who dies is who kills the person that dies. And the romance scenes are too damn funny. I'd say more, but people might actually read my blog, and that would spoil the book.

Finally!

Our internet service has been acting crazy this week. It started Monday, Memorial Day. It was a holiday, no biggie, didn't really miss it. Since it was a holiday, no one was in the local office, so they told us to call on Tuesday. Tuesday we had internet. Well, until around 9, 9:30pm. Then it went off again. Called the cable company again on Wednesday, service guy came out Thursday morning. After Keith came home from work and reset the firewall, we had internet again, YAY!! Wait....wait....nope, sorry two hours is long enough. No more internet for you! This time, the modem light was still on, but still losing packets like there was no tomorrow. So I called them again this morning (Friday), and of course they can't get anyone out until MONDAY. So Keith checked the splitter, changed the cables around, and now we have perfect internet! We'll go buy a new splitter ourselves, and I get to tell the cable co to fuck off! wooohoooo!

it's been awhile

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. (not that many people actually check here that often).

Not much new in my Legacy challenge, other than I've got most of the first generation to the elder stage, and two in the town have actually died. Then I got bored (attention span of a gnat, remember?) and went back to playing in PleasantVille. So I'm there for a while. I'll go back to my Legacy challenge eventually, but playing it with a whole neighborhood and trying to keep everyone around the same stages in life is a challenge in and of itself. Should have known better!

Woohoo!

So my birthday is on Wednesday next week, but my birthday present came today! A 19-inch flat panel monitor from Dell! I'm in heaven! It's verra nice!

I love my hubby.

On a side note, now I can push my desk all the way to the wall so the toddler can't get behind it anymore!

3rd Generation-Legacy

Well, I finally got around to playing my Legacy family last night. I've been so busy playing another story line at university, I almost forgot about the 3rd G baby due. I actually got the father of the my 3rd G baby graduated from Uni, but not home yet. Still have to throw his party and all that. I really like University, now that I've got it up and running. Too many hacks, I know. I've heard it runs like a dream when you don't have any custom content or hacks in it, but what's the fun in that?

Monday, March 7

attention span of a gnat

yeah, so I didn't have the patience to even have my Legacy third generation born. pretty sad, huh. oh well, I've been spending the last week trying to get my downloads compatible with the new expansion. I haven't really played much, just gone in the game to see what works and what shows up flashing blue. fun fun fun.

the flu

Well, thanks to my son, me and my husband have both gotten our butts kicked by the 48-hour flu. Today (Tuesday) is the first day we haven't had a fever. Of course, Matthew got his 18-month shots yesterday, so he's got a fever again. I'm going to go buy some Lysol and disinfect everything today!

My Legacy Family

Well, I finally found where the game stores my pictures, and why I couldn't find them. This is a picture of my starting sim for the Legacy Challenge. Her name is Stephanie Vonhavel.

Bloggerspot will only let me upload one picture per post (which is really annoying), so I'll post pictures of the rest of the family later.

Legacy update

Well, I finally spent enough time in my Legacy house that Stephanie (1st G) became an elder, Bethanie (2nd G) is now an adult, with G3 in the oven! I've taken pictures, but I need to figure out just where on my computer they are so I can post them. If anyone knows, feel free to leave a comment!

Mood: Irriatated

So I went into my Legacy family last night to get some playing time, and to see if my new teen/preg hack was working, and the damn school bus doesn't show up to pick the kids up from school. Their grades don't go down, which is good, but now I've got a teenager and a child at home all freakin day. And I can't send the teenager to work, cause then the child would be left home alone, and that leads to the social worker, dammit. I went into my files to make sure I hadn't downloaded the "no school" hack by accident, but it's nowhere to be found. Couldn't find anything over at MTS2, either. Damn Maxis patch. I've had more trouble with my hacks since downloading the second patch, with you have to have if you want user-made objects, dammit. grrrr.

On a better note, my child let me sleep until almost 9:30 this morning! An extra hour of sleep, ahhh.

Monday, January 24

wow, people actually found me! I'll have to start updating more!

Thursday, January 20

evil am I

So I finally got one of my teenage sims pregnant. by a teenager her age! They wont be adults until the baby is almost a child. I may get really evil and give them another baby.

better

Well, I'm feeling better today. It only took two trips to the chiropractor yesterday. And I have some really awesome friends. Keith (hubby) has class on Monday nights after work (and wednesday nights), so he didn't get home till 8pm. After throwing up after my first chiro visit, my blood sugar dropped really low, and I knew I shouldn't drive again. So my friend Kristina came and drove me and Matthew to my second appointment, and then my friend Samantha came over and helped me feed and take care of the boy after we got back. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends.
